ALANHS is an intense four-year academic experience that prepares students for college and their future careers by focusing on academic excellence, leadership development, and community service. In addition, ALANHS scholars focus on liberal arts pathways to enhance their creativity skills and sharpen their critical thinking skills. The following liberal arts pathways are offered in ALANHS social science, language arts, performing arts (band, chorus, dance, theatre), and visual arts.

February 12, 2025	ALANHS Open House at 6:00pm at the NHS Auditorium.
February 12-28, 2025	The ALANHS application will be available on the NHS and NCSS website.
March 15, 2025	Rising 9th Grade Candidate Interviews.
March 17-12, 2025	Rising 10th Grade ALANHS Application will be available.
March 28, 2025	Rising 10th Grade Candidate Interviews.
April 15, 2025	Rising 9th Grade Candidates will be notified of acceptance into ALANHS.
April 2025	Rising 10th Grade Candidates will be notified of acceptance into ALANHS.
